The Maserati Quattroporte is a four-door luxury sports sedan produced by Italian car manufacturer Maserati. The name translated from Italian literally means “four doors”.The fourth generation Quattroporte (Tipo AM337) was built from 1994 to 2001. It was built on an evolved and stretched version of the Biturbo saloons’ architecture and used twin-turbocharged V6 and V8 engines respectively from the Ghibli and Maserati Shamal coupés.
The wedge-shaped aerodynamic (0.31 Cd) body with angular rear wheel arches was the work of Marcello Gandini
This example has recently had a major refurbishment programme at Crossley & Webb and is in good condition
It is on display in the Crossley & Webb showroom in Cape Town until 2pm on Saturday the 12th of September 2020
