A Buell motorcycle is a unique American sportbike. Known for unconventional engineering, massive V-twin engines, and a cult-like following, Buell is the brainchild of Erik Buell, a former Harley-Davidson engineer and former motorcycle racer. For a long time, Buell was owned by Harley Davidson.
The Buell XB9 series was produced from 2002 to 2010
The Following innovations make the XB9 series so unique:
Engine: At the heart of the XB9 is the 984cc "Thunderstorm" V-Twin engine which started life based on a Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 block, Buell heavily modified it with a shorter stroke, lighter flywheels, high-flow cylinder heads, and electronic fuel injection.
The Buell XB9SX Lightning CityX was first registered in 2005, is finished in Hero Blue and has only covered 21350km since new. It is powered by the 984cc V Twin thunderstorm engine (92 BHP) and features the following innovations:
- Aluminium hollow frame tank
- Hollow swingarm oil storage
