The Lotus Elise SC is a high-performance supercharged version of the Lotus Elise produced from 2008 to 2011. The Lotus Elise SC is special because it takes the core philosophy of the already brilliant Elise—"simplify, then add lightness"—and boosts performance through supercharging without compromising the car's pure driving experience.

The bonded extruded aluminium chassis and fiberglass bodyshell are paired with the 1.8-liter Toyota-sourced engine (2ZZ-GE) with a Lotus-designed, non-intercooled Magnuson-produced supercharger. This increases the power output from the naturally aspirated Elise’s 189 bhp to around 217-220 hp and a substantial increase in torque. With a low weight of only 920kg and a 6-speed manual gearbox the Lotus Elise SC provides an unfiltered driving experience and is considered to be the ultimate road focused Elise by enthusiasts
