The Ferrari F430 ushered in a new era of performance Ferrari’s. It featured a lightweight aluminum chassis clothed in Pinninfarina styled bodywork reminiscent of the "Sharknose" Formula 1 Ferrari of the 1960’s. Power was from an all-new V8 engine with a power output of 483 BHP. The Spider featured a fully electric retractable soft top with the engine visible under a glass cover, a signature Ferrari design element.
The F430 was Ferrari’s first road car to incorporate the innovative "E-Diff," an electronic differential designed to enhance cornering stability, and the "Manettino" steering wheel dial, allowing drivers to switch between driving modes, tailoring the car’s behavior to road or track conditions.
There was a marked improvement in aerodynamic efficiency with the F430, and improved build quality contributed to an impressive all-round package that was a big step forward for Ferrari
