The Ferrari Testarossa, produced from 1984 to 1996 is unquestionably the flamboyant, futuristic “poster car” of the 1980’s. Its impact has not diminished on the car world since its launch, partly due to its striking design with wide rear haunches and aggressive side slats and its strong representation in popular media. This bold Pinninfarina designed classic supercar is powered by a 4.9l flat 12-cylinder naturally aspirated Tipo F113A engine which produces 380 BHP and offers a driving experience not matched by the current “digital” supercars.

The Ferrari 512M is regarded as the ultimate Testarossa and the “Swan Song” of the Testarossa evolution. Only 501 units were produced with its goal being to improve driving dynamics and power output. It is the most usable, the fastest, the most comfortable and the rarest of cars produced from 1985 until 1995.

The “M” stands for Modificata,or modified

One of only 41 UK supplied Right hand drive examples (75 RHD examples worldwide) and delivered new in May 1995 in London by Maranello Sales Ltd in Egham Surrey

Regularly serviced by Maranello Sales up to 1999 at which point the car moved to Monaco and three services are recorded at Monaco Motors between 2001 and 2005.

The car was imported to South Africa between 2005 and 2006 with a cambelt service recorded by Rosso Sport Auto in Kyalami Johannesburg in 2006 at 15 247 miles. Further services at Rosso Sport Auto are recorded in 2009 at 15915 miles and 2013 with 16347 miles recorded (another cambelt service). Due to the last cambelt service being completed in 2013, a cambelt service was completed in 2022 and new Pirelli tyres were fitted at the same time. The annual servicing is up to date and this example has benefited from an extensive exterior and interior detail, ceramic coating and Xpel paint protection film to the frontal area of the Ferrari
