LT or “Long Tail” is the designation for Mclaren’s most extreme track-focused road cars. The term “Long Tail” was first used when South African born F1 designer Gordon Murray optimized the aerodynamics on the Le Mans winning Mclaren F1 GTR by stretching its bodywork for the 1997 GT season.

• A 47mm extended rear plus a 27mm longer splitter in front in order to optimize aerodynamics.
• A weight reduction of 95kg versus the base McLaren 570s
• A 30 BHP increase in power to 600 BHP through new camshafts and revised tuning of the 3.8l Twin Turbo V8 engine
• 25% faster shifts from the 7 speed dual clutch gearbox
• 4% quicker steering ratio giving an organic steering feel
• Wider front track, new forged wishbones, 8mm lower ride height with stiffer suspension and anti-roll bar settings
• Excellent carbon ceramic brakes sourced from the Mclaren 720s

Highly regarded by the international motoring press. The Mclaren 600 LT won both the EVO Car of the Year and Autocar’s Best Driver’s Car awards in 2018 over competition such as the Ferrari 488 Pista and Porsche GT3 RS. Mclaren’s masterstroke was to give the LT treatment to the 570s Sports series model with the effect of bringing advanced driving dynamics and lightning performance to a more affordable level versus the rarified prices of the Ferrari 488 Pista and Lamborghini Hurucan STO.

This Mclaren 600 LT was ordered in the iconic Mclaren Orange with Carbon Black Alcantara racing seats with contrasting orange stitching plus the following optional extras:
